Quiet Ground collects almost nothing, and this notice explains the little there is to explain. The site is static: its pages are files, its server sends them, and no account, purchase or booking is possible anywhere on it.

Visits and logs

The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. As with any hosted website, the hosting provider processes the technical requests needed to serve a page, including the requesting IP address, and keeps short-lived logs for security and abuse prevention. Quiet Ground adds nothing to that processing: no analytics script, no advertising identifier, no cookie banner, because no cookie is set.

Email

The one channel by which a reader can be identified is the editor's mailbox, editors@cenacleretreathouse.org. Correspondence sent there is read by the editors, kept as long as the conversation warrants and used for no other purpose. It is never sold, shared or added to a list, because no list exists.

Links out

Pages link to external sources, including the websites of retreat centers and religious organizations. Those sites are their own institutions with their own notices; following a link out of Quiet Ground leaves this notice behind.
